A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
My passion is to work with people who want results but may have a condition or injury and don’t have the know how to do it safely.
So I can help whether you’re trying to minimise pain, lose weight but recovering from an injury, improve performance or have an existing sickness.
I have worked with many people recovering from, or in therapy for cancer and have had a very personal experience within my own family. These kinds of clients continue to inspire me every day.
I have also worked extensively with athletes and coaches in the sports of freestyle wrestling, Judo, Soccer, Squash, Tennis, Ice hockey, Volleyball, Golf, and helped produce many Canadian national champions.
I was fortunate to work alongside I.O.C certified Canadian dietitian Nancy Fong for 5 years and I have a good understanding of nutritional needs.
My training approach was sought out by Canadian Prince Edward Island Orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Steve Miller and Physiotherapist Ralph Manning who both referred their clients to me over a 5 year period.
I believe in positive affirmation and enlightening that spirit of belief in my clients. My approach is to be skilled at solving anatomical issues and being meticulous in the process.

PROPRIOCEPTION
Bodies awareness in space, how the body defends itself from injury through applied balance techniques.

FLEXIBILITY
Range of motion around a joint! Whether it be passive, dynamic or self facilitated flexibility. Overworked muscles will be indentified and lengthened to allow for optimum biomechanics and quality movement patterns.
PAIN REDUCTION AND INJURY MANAGEMENT.
Part of our bodies defense system is called fight for flight. triggering it too often causes a pain response which can be debilitating. We can teach you through exercise pacing, latest science and state of mind how to turn that response down for less pain!
STRENGTH AND RESISTANCE TRAINING
As we have tight muscles where we need to lengthen we also have long muscles that have much flexibility but are also weak. Resistance training is crucial to shorten them and increase there strength . A strong strength stabilization base is also needed to produce power for everyday activities such as parents lifting their kids, walking up and down stairs, physical occupations, recreational sport.
